A Touch of Darkness | Scarlett St. Clair (Hades & Persephone Saga #1, Book 1)
Ok, so this is my first dive into this genre of stories. My first romance fantasy and it is in the Greek Mythology realm. I came into this by accident and “good gods” this was so good. Yes, Persephone could be a bit annoying in this book but I’ll take the story line! Who doesn’t love getting lost in a forbidden love story! Believe me when I say I revelled in Hades and Persephone’s inferno level spice. I definitely am extremely intrigued to explore more of the Underworld!

A Game of Fate | Scarlett St. Clair (Hades Saga #1, Book 2)
Since I came across this series by accident, I don’t think I was reading this correctly. (lol) I did pretty good research on the order but didn’t realize the best way to read the series was in tandem with each other. For example, A Touch of Darkness is in the perspective of Persephone and this book, A Game of Fate, is basically the same story in Hades’ POV with an extra story line. The author has a list on tandem reading on her instagram. Since I read this one straight away after the first book, I found myself skimming through a bunch since some parts are the exact same.
Given I did read both so close to each other, I felt I liked Hades’ POV much better. I’m interested to see how my reading experience will be reading the next two books at the same time!

Funny Story | Emily Henry
I have been anticipating the release of this book for a while and oh my gahhh it did NOT disappoint. I freaking LOVED this book!! It was so funny, witty, and cute as hell! Miles is my guy! Can he BE any cuter! *in Chandler Bing’s voice*
This is one of those books that I would LOVE to read for the first time again! Go out and get this one! You won’t regret it!

A Touch of Ruin | Scarlett St. Clair (Hades & Persephone Saga #2, Book 3)
Remember in my review in A Touch Of Darkness when I said Persephone was a bit annoying. Welp, in this one, she was a lot annoying. This one took me a while to get through because it dragged a bit for me. Her selfishness ran at a level ten and her decision making was pretty horrible. There were sprinkles of events that kept me engaged just because I have hopes it would be better explored in Hades’ POV, A Game of Retribution. I’m glad this book is over but I am anticipating the next read.

A Game of Retribution | Scarlett St. Clair (Hades Saga #2, Book 4)
This book really did dig deeper in Hades’ thoughts and feelings. The patience of this God of the Underworld is unmatched especially reading all the situations Persephone had put him in. The banter between Hades and Hermes brings refreshing moments in between the stories of betrayal and sin.

This Summer Will Be Different | Carly Fortune
I have loved every book by Carly Fortune and this one is no different. Like the other books, this was also breezy with a hint of angst that kept the reader on their toes. A happy ending was inevitable but the journey to get there was a sweet sweet ride. The little bit of spice she sprinkled in there had me re-reading sentences 3-4 times because I embraced the blush. Such a good read, I zoomed through it! A perfect beach read.

A Touch of Malice | Scarlett St. Clair (Hades & Persephone Saga #3, Book 5)
A Game of Gods | Scarlett St. Clair (Hades Saga #3, Book 6)
I read these both in tandem with each other using the author’s guide I found on Instagram. It was a little tedious this way but also better? I love carrying a book with me everywhere I go just in case I get a moment to read a few pages but having to carry around two big ones was not my favorite thing. But that’s definitely a personal problem. Lol.
But being as some of the chapters/pages are the same, I did like this route because I was able to skip the parts that were repeated.
Persephone was more digestible in ATOM since so many events had forced her to grow up a bit more. Less whiny and more reliable heroine vibes. There was extreme character growth in this book.
In AGOG, the story definitely picked up. A lot more action and story line. It was also nice to read different character POVs. There are parts where it touches on traumatic events and were hella hard to read (and I mean HELLA), so be wary as you go along in the story.

A Touch of Chaos | Scarlett St. Clair (Hades & Persephone Saga #4, Book 7)
Here we have reached the end of the Hades x Persephone Saga. This one definitely kept me on my toes. A lot of gasping and surprising moments for me. As I noted, A Game of the Gods had some triggering moments, this book had a step more. There were parts that were tough to read. When it reached a certain character’s POV, i cringed at each word. He. Was. Fucking. Disgusting.
All in all, it was a quite an ending. I am glad I’m done with the series but I will miss reading about the immense devotion that Hades and Persephone have for each other.

A Love Song for Ricki Wilde | Tia Williams
What a love story to get immersed in!
The magical pull between Ezra and Ricki was such a pleasure to read, I could NOT put this book down. It had just the right amount of funny, sexy, magic, and sorrow that kept me reading nonstop.

Happy Reading!
